Amelia Chan’s Journey: Scholarship Update
ADMIN • June 3, 2025
We’re proud to share another exciting update on Amelia Chan, the recipient of Redpath Partners Women in Construction Scholarship at UNSW and a standout student in Construction Management.
Now in her second year, Amelia has spent the past 12 months working under a cadetship with Tier 1 builder Built., where she recently played a key role in delivering the $10M Genesis Showroom project. She’s currently gaining hands-on experience in the tendering phase of new builds, broadening her exposure to different stages of the construction lifecycle.
Recently, Amelia has been focusing on people management and vocational upskilling as she nears the completion of her degree. Amelias confidence is growing, working directly with clients and key stakeholders, an area her cadetship has given her strong foundations in.
Looking ahead, Amelia is preparing for the second half of her studies, which will cover digital construction and tools such as BIM. She’s especially excited about upcoming group-based assignments, where her collaborative mindset really shines. She is enjoying the transparent, fast-paced nature of the construction industry and she is thriving being involved in everything from work-winning to project delivery.
We’re incredibly proud of her continued growth and equally proud to be a business that backs its values with action. At Redpath Partners, we’re proud to be supporting the next generation of women in construction.
