Assistant Development Manager
An exciting opportunity exists for an ambitious property professional to join a highly regarded Australian property developer with a strong track record of delivering residential and mixed-use communities across multiple markets.
Working closely with an experienced Project Director, this role offers exposure to the full development lifecycle and provides an excellent platform for career progression within a well-established and growth-focused organisation.
The Role
As Assistant Development Manager, you will support the delivery of a portfolio of development projects from planning and approvals through to construction, sales and settlements. You will work alongside internal stakeholders and external consultants to help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the end-to-end management of development projects
- Coordinating planning, rezoning and approval processes
- Undertaking market research and feasibility analysis
- Assisting with consultant, contractor and stakeholder management
- Supporting project budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
- Monitoring construction progress and project milestones
- Assisting with sales, marketing and settlement activities
- Preparing project reports and supporting risk management processes
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Property, Engineering, Valuations, Construction Management or a related discipline
- Approximately 2+ years' experience within property development, development management, project management, advisory or a related field
- Exposure to planning, design coordination and project delivery
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
- A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to build a long-term career in property development
