Redpath Partners are exclusively working with a national client-side project management consultancy who are experiencing ongoing project demands. With a strong reputation in the industry for delivering a range of projects across Commercial, Education, Aged Care, Healthcare, Master Planned Communities and Fitout they continue to thrive with an established pipeline of work. This consultancy is looking to take on an Assistant Project Manager to support their established team and clients.
Role
Involved from initial project planning and coordination through to project completion you will represent the best interests of a variety of clients across varying sectors.
The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Overseeing all project activities, throughout complete project life cycle
- Identifying project scope, goals and deliverables
- Procurement & Contract Management
- Programme and Cost Management
- Excellent communication with all stakeholders, relationship management with the client
- Design Management involved across the consent process
- Manage external consultants optimising best practice and construction delivery
Suitable candidates will have the following experience:
- Ideally experience working for a Project Management Consultancy (Delivering vertical construction), alternatively you could be working within architecture, engineering, planning, construction (project management/site management) or quantity surveying. Must have a minimum of 2 years NZ commercial construction experience to be considered.
- Commercial, Education, Aged Care, Healthcare, Master Planned Communities or Fitout experience is preferred.
- High level of communication skills, proven collaborative ability with demonstrated skills in leading negotiations with multiple stakeholders
- Preference is a proven track record in Project Management overseeing projects throughout the complete project life cycle
- Strong knowledge of NZ Building Standards and the tendering process
