We are seeking a commercially astute Contract Administrator with a minimum of three years' experience working within commercial construction and/or property development. You'll play a key role in the successful financial and contractual management of projects from procurement through to completion.
The OpportunityWorking closely with Project Managers, Site Managers and senior leadership, you will be responsible for administering contracts, managing project costs and ensuring projects are delivered in line with contractual obligations, budgets and timelines.
This role offers exposure to high-quality commercial projects within a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Administer head contracts and subcontract agreements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare, review and negotiate subcontract packages and supplier agreements.
- Manage procurement processes, including tendering, scope reviews and subcontractor engagement.
- Assess and process progress claims, payment schedules and variations.
- Prepare cost reports, cash flow forecasts and project financial reporting.
- Monitor project budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist with forecasting, risk management and contract compliance.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and contract records.
- Support successful project delivery through effective commercial management.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum of three years' experience as a Contract Administrator within commercial construction and/or property development .
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement and commercial management.
- Experience managing subcontractor packages, variations and project financials.
- Excellent knowledge of construction processes and project delivery.
- Strong analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Property or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
