Backed by experienced industry leaders and significant institutional funding, the business already has multiple projects underway across APAC, with several additional sites in acquisition and early development phases.

The company is focused on delivering Powered Shell infrastructure designed for hyperscale cloud and AI workloads, requiring a Design Director who can bridge development strategy, technical design, and future customer integration.

This role will lead the design lifecycle across multiple projects — from masterplanning and concept design through procurement and delivery readiness — while helping establish scalable design standards for the platform as it grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design management across multiple hyperscale data centre developments throughout APAC
• Oversee projects through masterplanning, concept design, procurement, and delivery phases
• Develop scalable Powered Shell design standards aligned to future hyperscale customer requirements
• Act as a key interface between development, consultants, contractors, and future customers
• Provide technical oversight across electrical and mechanical infrastructure including substations, cooling strategies, HV/LV distribution, and AI-ready environments
• Drive consistency, speed-to-market, and commercial efficiency across all projects
• Manage external architectural and engineering consultancies across multiple regions
• Support procurement strategy and major technical design decisions

• 10+ years’ experience within data centre design, engineering, development, or mission critical infrastructure
• Strong experience within hyperscale, colocation, developer, operator, or consultancy environments
• Proven exposure to large-scale data centre projects across design and development phases
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems within mission critical environments
• Experience working on Powered Shell or hyperscale-ready infrastructure highly regarded
• Commercially minded with strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Comfortable operating within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
