APAC wide Design and Construct business are inviting candidates for Design Manager to apply.
Reporting into the General Manager, this person will be getting involved in ECI's through to Construction.
Exposure to cost and project pricing will be involved.
Exciting and fulfilling projects are on offer; Cultural, Hospitality, Food and Beverage, Retail and Wellness.
- Design coordination across architects, consultants, and contractors
- Ensuring design intent matches budget, program, and buildability
- Managing documentation, approvals, and compliance
- Running design workshops and stakeholder meetings
- Supporting procurement, value engineering, and tender phases
- Solving design issues during construction delivery
Ideal Profile of Candidate
- Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Construction Management
- Proven skills as Design Manager in Construction/D+C
- Strong experience in fit-out / hospitality / commercial projects
- Experience from ECI stage/New Business/Cost estimation would be ideal
- Ability to manage multiple consultants and stakeholders
- Commercial awareness (budget, procurement, value engineering)
- High attention to detail + strong communication
- Experience of high end finishes and details on projects ideal
