- Own projects across the development lifecycle, from site feasibility and acquisition through to delivery and completion
- Lead feasibility, financial modelling and development cases with a clear focus on commercial outcomes
- Take full accountability for project budgets, cashflow and commercial performance
- Drive design outcomes, managing consultants and aligning design with market demand, cost and delivery constraints
- Navigate planning and consenting, engaging with councils and stakeholders
- Manage and influence key stakeholders, building strong relationships across landowners, investors, consultants and delivery partners
- Lead procurement and contract negotiations, engaging with contractors and consultants
- Oversee delivery, maintaining control of programme, cost, quality and risk through to practical completion
- Provide clear, commercially driven reporting and strategic input, influencing outcomes at a senior level
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years Development Management exposure working directly for a Developer or alternatively within a consultancy environment. Alternatively, candidates with strong project management consultancy experience looking to transition into Development Management will be considered (5 years+ experience minimum required). Relevant Tertiary Qualification – Construction Management, Property, Architecture, Quantity Surveying or Engineering is essential.
