We are partnering with a growing civil infrastructure business to find an experienced Estimator / Project Manager to join their team. This is a hands-on, high-impact role that offers a clear career pathway from predominantly estimating to full-time project management.

The Opportunity

  • Short-term: 80% Estimating / 20% Project Management
  • Medium-term: 50/50 split, with eventual progression to a full-time Project Manager role
  • Opportunity to contribute across estimating and project delivery, gaining exposure to high-profile civil infrastructure projects

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead estimating and tender submissions for major projects
  • Oversee project delivery, including scheduling, planning, and contract management
  • Work collaboratively with teams and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
  • Provide innovative solutions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

About You

  • Degree in Engineering or Project Management
  • 10+ years’ experience in civil construction, ideally with a small to medium contractor
  • Energetic, proactive, and able to think outside the box
  • Strong commercial and contract knowledge
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project, Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Full working rights in Australia, valid Driver’s Licence, own vehicle, and Construction White Card
  • Willingness to travel interstate and work night shifts if required
  • A team player who aligns with company values and culture
