Redpath is currently partnered with a leading Australian property developer to assist in the search for someone to join their Preconstruction & Procurement team, supporting the delivery of large-scale residential land developments.

This opportunity is suited to someone that is currently with a head contractor who is looking to transition across to developer (Project Engineer, Contract Administrator or Estimator/ Cost Planner ).

Key responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end procurement and tender processes
  • Support cost planning, estimating, and feasibility assessments
  • Evaluate contractor submissions and assist with commercial negotiations
  • Support budget management, benchmarking, and value engineering initiatives
  • Provide commercial and project support to development and construction teams

About you:
  • Must hold a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline
  • Preferably have experience delivering civil construction or subdivision projects
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project delivery
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive, solutions-focused, and commercially minded
  • Curious, adaptable, and willing to learn new aspects of the development process
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret project information and cost data
  • Excited by the opportunity to transition into the developer space and build a career in preconstruction
