Role: Facilities Manager
Location: Leichhardt Office (Multi site portfolio across Sydney)
Package:
Up to $150k inclusive of super
The Role:
Reporting into the Head of Facilities Management, you will support facilities planning and asset management of a 130+ portfolio across Sydney, whilst also managing the relationships with multiple managing agents.
A significant part of your role will include overseeing multiple projects across the portfolio so candidates with a solid understanding of project management within facilities will be very well received.

Your duties and responsibilities as Facilities Manager:
- Acting as facilities point of contact for all stakeholders and tenants
- Developing effective relationships and providing reliable advice on all facilities matters
- Overseeing and actively managing multiple projects across the portfolio <$10m capex
- Preparing construction, maintenance and minor works contracts
- Proactively direct managing agents across a range of commercial and residential leases
- Manage engagement of contractors and conduct periodic reviews
- Support preparation and management of 10-year forecast maintenance budgets and annual budget preparation
- Work closely with WHS advisor to provide support on WHS issues and improvements
- Ensure all statutory obligations regarding maintenance and testing have been fulfilled
- Weekly WIP meetings with Head of Facilities Management to present updates
To be successful in your application, we are seeking the following skills/experience:
- 10+ years experience in facilities management
- Proven experience in WHS management and compliance
- Experience In negotiating and managing contracts
- Understanding of leases
- Project management experience at a range of scales and budgets
- Good report writing skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders
- Able to commute to Leichhardt office and be willing to travel to multi-sites across Sydney.
