This is a broad and hands-on role offering exposure across financial reporting, treasury, investor reporting, compliance, corporate governance and funding activities, managing a team of 2 accountants.
Working closely with the CFO, Portfolio Manager and overseas investors, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial integrity and performance of a diverse commercial property portfolio.

Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Review and oversee monthly financial reporting prepared by external property managers
- Analyse property performance against approved budgets and business plans
- Investigate variances and provide commercial insights and recommendations
- Prepare quarterly, half-year and annual financial statements
- Prepare quarterly financial and management reports for overseas investors
- Assist with board reporting and preparation of financial packs
- Support strategic decision-making through timely financial analysis
- Manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity requirements across multiple entities
- Assist with treasury activities including term deposits, loan administration and interest rate swaps
- Support funding, refinancing and banking transactions with Australian lenders
- Monitor banking covenants and financing obligations
- Oversee end-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Prepare and lodge IAS and BAS returns
- Coordinate annual income tax compliance with external advisors
- Manage payroll, superannuation, payroll tax and workers compensation obligations
- Act as Company Secretary, coordinating board meetings, agendas and minutes
- Maintain company records and statutory compliance with ASIC, ATO and ABR requirements
- Manage external audit processes and preparation of statutory accounts
- Liaise with auditors, advisors, lenders and key external stakeholders
- CA or CPA qualification
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
- Minimum 10 years' accounting experience, including at least 5 years in Commercial Real Estate
- Strong understanding of property ownership structures, leases and legal documentation
- Experience preparing financial statements and investor reporting packs
- Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modelling capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to work across a broad range of responsibilities
- Ability to thrive in a small, collaborative team environment
