Health & Safety Coordinator – High Rise Residential Project
Location: Zetland, Sydney
Project: $150M High Rise Residential Development
Reporting to: Safety Manager

The Opportunity
An established national construction business is seeking a proactive Health & Safety Coordinator to join a landmark $150M high rise residential project based in Zetland. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a major build alongside an experienced site leadership team and contribute to a strong safety-first culture from early delivery through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Safety Manager in implementing and maintaining site safety systems and procedures
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments across all stages of construction
  • Assist with incident investigations, reporting, and corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, policies, and project requirements
  • Coordinate site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training initiatives
  • Monitor subcontractor compliance and safe work practices on site
  • Maintain safety documentation, registers, permits, and records
  • Promote a positive safety culture and provide guidance to site personnel and subcontractors
  • Assist with return-to-work and injury management processes where required
About You
  • Previous experience in a Health & Safety Coordinator or Advisor position within construction
  • Exposure to high rise residential or large-scale commercial projects preferred
  • Strong understanding of NSW WHS legislation and construction safety requirements
  • Relevant qualifications in Work Health & Safety
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Confident working in a fast-paced site environment
  • Proactive, organised, and solutions-focused approach
