Working within a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will be involved in the design and delivery of hydraulic services from concept through to construction, contributing to a range of technically challenging projects across South Australia and nationally.
The Role
You will be responsible for the design, documentation and coordination of hydraulic services across a diverse project portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Design hydraulic services systems including water, sewer, stormwater and gas services
- Prepare engineering calculations, reports, specifications and technical documentation
- Coordinate designs with mechanical, electrical, structural and architectural disciplines
- Attend design meetings and liaise with clients, contractors and project stakeholders
- Undertake site inspections and provide construction-phase support
- Ensure designs comply with Australian Standards, NCC and relevant authority requirements
- Contribute to project delivery, programme management and client outcomes
About You
- Degree qualified in Civil, Mechanical or Hydraulic Engineering
- 3+ years' experience in hydraulic building services design
- Experience delivering commercial, healthcare, education, defence or industrial projects
- Working knowledge of Australian Standards, NCC and hydraulic design principles
- Experience using AutoCAD, Revit and hydraulic design software
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment
