This is a leave cover opportunity at one of Melbourne's highest-profile retail destinations, stepping into a fast-paced marketing team during an exciting period of growth and development. The centre is undergoing a re-development!
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, you'll take ownership of BAU marketing delivery across activations, social, agencies and retailer comms, while supporting a junior team member. The centre has a distinctive brand tone and an always-on social presence, so this is not a heads-down desk role.
The contract runs mid-August to mid-November with genuine potential for extension to December and other opportunities within the group.
What you'll be doing
- Planning and delivering in-centre activations and campaigns
- Managing PR, social and influencer agency relationships
- Driving high-volume social media content and community management
- Supporting and managing a junior Marketing Executive
- Budget tracking, reporting and retailer communications
- BAU marketing execution across digital and in-centre channels
What we're looking for
- Experience in retail centre, retail brand, hospitality marketing, commercial development or similar
- High comfort with social media volume and pace, this is a non-negotiable
- Proven agency and supplier management
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities
- Property background not essential, but highly regarded
- Development or capital projects experience a bonus given the asset's current growth phase
- Fixed-term contract, mid-August to mid-November (extension possible)
- Marketing Executive or Marketing Manager level considered
- Up to $135K - $145K package depending on level and experience
- One flex day per week WFH
- Melbourne location
