Location: Western Sydney
Package: $140k-$145k inc super + bonus
The Role:
We have a new opportunity available for an operations manager to manage a complex asset in Western Sydney. You will predominantly be based at 1 asset with travel required to a 2 nd smaller retail asset once every 1-2 weeks.
We are looking to speak with candidates who have managed large retail assets and have a genuine passion for the sector and good energy.
A more detailed PD will be provided upon application.
Your duties and responsibilities as Operations Manager will be as followed:
- Lead and deliver the operations mandate for each asset (e.g., Financial OPEX and capital, WHS, and sustainability measures)
- Manage all subcontractors across hard and soft services at the centres
- Attend and participate in monthly Profit & Loss review meetings
- Monitor contractor performance and host monthly contractor meetings, providing feedback to efficiently manage each contractor performance
- Work closely with the rest of the team to ensure the wider portfolio is managed to company standards covering maintenance HSE and general operations.
- Ensure detailed understanding of building maintenance and compliance across multi disciplines – structural, fire, electrical, HVAC, building code and others.
- Build strong relationships with tenants
- Experienced in facilities / operations management within shopping centres
- Proven experience in managing subcontractor and tenant relationships
- Happy to travel between 2 sites
