The Role
As a Project Engineer, you will:
- Own the technical design of assigned projects, from detailed design through delivery.
- Translate concepts into buildable solutions with a design/build mindset.
- Work with SMEs to integrate mechanical, electrical and facility design into practical project packages.
- Produce and review engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
- Support project teams with budgets, procurement, scheduling and design clarifications.
- Participate in client meetings and technical presentations throughout project delivery.
- Travel to project sites to support installation, commissioning and field problem-solving.
- 2–5 years of experience supporting project teams in industrial or construction environments.
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong aptitude for design/build projects and equipment integration.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, SharePoint/OneDrive.
- Procore or CAD software experience preferred.
- PMP, PRINCE2 or AIPM certification a plus.
- Work on major industrial and defence infrastructure projects.
- Exposure to the full project lifecycle from design through commissioning.
