Moore Construction is an established Piling & Civil Works firm based in Queenstown and Christchurch with projects throughout New Zealand. We are looking for skilled staff to work within a great team to manage projects to a successful completion and to our high standards.

Qualifications & Experience Skills and attributes that are valued for this role: 
  • Civil Engineering Degree
  • 5+ years’ experience in civil construction management.
  • 1-5 years experience in complex commercial Piling projects preferred.
  • Proven technical experience in project delivery
  • Ability to set up projects from scratch - work plans, methods, safety, quality and environmental documentation
  • Ability to program at least 3 months ahead utilising Microsoft Project tools.
  • Leadership Skills, the ability to positively direct and mentor a team of staff.
  • A quality led mindset which takes pride in their team’s performance.
Tasks & responsibilities
  • Contracts Management, Client & Supplier Communication
  • Quality Management including writing project plans and assessing and recording works against milestones, ITPs and material supply requirements.
  • Preparing work plans and completing quality & HSE documentation
  • Ordering material and organizing subcontractor, staff and machinery resource.
  • Interpreting plans and specification.
