Moore Construction is an established Piling & Civil Works firm based in Queenstown and Christchurch with projects throughout New Zealand. We are looking for skilled staff to work within a great team to manage projects to a successful completion and to our high standards.
Qualifications & Experience Skills and attributes that are valued for this role:- Civil Engineering Degree
- 5+ years’ experience in civil construction management.
- 1-5 years experience in complex commercial Piling projects preferred.
- Proven technical experience in project delivery
- Ability to set up projects from scratch - work plans, methods, safety, quality and environmental documentation
- Ability to program at least 3 months ahead utilising Microsoft Project tools.
- Leadership Skills, the ability to positively direct and mentor a team of staff.
- A quality led mindset which takes pride in their team’s performance.
- Contracts Management, Client & Supplier Communication
- Quality Management including writing project plans and assessing and recording works against milestones, ITPs and material supply requirements.
- Preparing work plans and completing quality & HSE documentation
- Ordering material and organizing subcontractor, staff and machinery resource.
- Interpreting plans and specification.
