I am seeking an experienced Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to join a well-established not-for-profit organisation specialising in retirement living villages and aged care. This is an opportunity to contribute to meaningful capital works and refurbishment programs across a diverse and established residential portfolio.

About the Role

You will play a key role in the planning and delivery of capital works and refurbishment projects, including village upgrades, wellness centre improvements, and broader asset enhancement initiatives.

A key focus of the role is driving delivery performance by leading and supporting a small project team, improving programme efficiency, and contributing to process improvements that enhance governance, accountability, and agile project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of residential, retirement living, and capital works projects
  • Manage refurbishments, village upgrades, and wellness centre improvements
  • Oversee procurement and contractor performance to ensure value, quality, and efficiency
  • Manage risk, due diligence, and project governance requirements
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across development and operations
  • Support and mentor junior project team members
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to required quality standards

About You

  • Approximately 10+ years’ experience in property, construction, development, or project management
  • Strong background in capital works and/or residential delivery environments

  • Comfortable working in a hands-on, evolving environment
  • Strong communicator across both technical and operational stakeholders
  • Pragmatic, solutions-focused, and adaptable in approach

Benefits

  • Opportunity to join a values-driven organisation that encourages innovation and new ways of working
  • Autonomous working environment with genuine trust and ownership
  • Competitive salary package
  • Full-time role with some flexible working hours, including work-from-home once a week
