Redpath Partners are working in collaboration with a Client-side Project Management consultancy who are experiencing strong project demand. With an established reputation in the industry for delivering a range of projects across Commercial, Industrial, Retail, Education and Residential developments they continue to thrive with a significant pipeline of work. This consultancy is looking to take on an additional Project Manager to support the current leadership team and future project pipeline.
Role
Involved from initial project inception through to project completion you will represent the best interests of a variety of clients across varying sectors.
The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Overseeing all project activities, throughout complete project life-cycle
- Identifying project scope, goals and deliverables
- Programme and Cost Management
- Procurement and overseeing the tender process
- Stakeholder engagement, building essential relationships across all key entities
- Design Management including and managing the consent process
- Manage external consultants optimising best practice and construction delivery
Suitable candidates will have the following experience:
- Experience working for a Project Management Consultancy or Developer in NZ or AUS (Delivering vertical construction)
- Experience in delivering commercial projects, or larger more complex residential developments
- High level of communication skills, proven collaborative ability with demonstrated skills in leading negotiations with multiple stakeholders
- Proven track record in Project Management overseeing projects throughout the complete project life cycle
- Strong knowledge of NZ Building Standards and the tendering process
- Relevant Tertiary education in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Architecture or Engineering
- Competitive salary depending on ability and experience $130-150k + KiwiSaver
