Residential Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of residential construction projects from initial planning through to project completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to coordinate project phases effectively.
  • Develop comprehensive project timelines, budgets, and scopes, maintaining rigorous quality standards.
  • Lead site safety initiatives, ensuring full compliance with NZ safety regulations and standards.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively resolve issues, and provide clear updates to stakeholders.
  • Review plans and specifications to align with client expectations and regulatory requirements.
  • Motivate and oversee construction teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Proven experience in residential construction project management, preferably within New Zealand’s building industry.
  • Strong knowledge of NZ building codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency with project management software and MS Office tools.
  • Valid NZ driver’s license and willingness to travel to various project sites across the region.
