A Senior Architect / Senior Project Architect
, reporting to the Melbourne Director is sought to join ASAP to lead Architectural projects or major project packages, with responsibility for design integration, technical delivery, team leadership and client management.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership
Lead projects from concept through to completion
Establish and manage programme, delivery strategy and resources
Design & Technical Leadership
Drive design resolution and technical excellence
Ensure integration across all disciplines
Client Management
Lead client relationships and project meetings
Manage stakeholder expectations
Develop new business and opportunities
Build existing and new client base
Commercial & Risk Awareness
Monitor project scope, programme and delivery efficiency
Identify and escalate commercial or delivery risks
Construction Phase Leadership
Lead contract administration and construction phase services
Ensure built outcomes align with design intent
Team Leadership
Lead and mentor project teams
Allocate and review work outputs
Business Contribution
Contribute to bids, proposals and client engagement
Authority & Decision Making
Authority to lead projects within agreed scope and parameters
May direct internal teams and consultants
Escalates significant commercial, contractual or reputational risks
Performance & Accountability
Accountable for:
Overall project performance (programme, quality, delivery)

Client satisfaction and relationship management
Skills & Experience
Registered Architect
8–15+ years experience
Workplace D+C experience required.
Demonstrated experience leading projects
Strong understanding of contracts and construction delivery
Ability to foster relationships with clients and industry connections.
