The Opportunity
A well-established developer-builder and head contractor is seeking a Senior Estimator to join their team in Sydney’s inner south. With a strong pipeline of high-density Class 2 residential projects (circa $80M–$120M) , this role will play a key part in securing and delivering future work.
This is a great opportunity to step into a business where you’ll have genuine input across both development and construction phases , working closely with senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Lead estimating on large-scale residential projects ($80M–$100M+)
- Prepare detailed cost plans, BOQs, and tender submissions
- Manage subcontractor pricing and procurement strategies
- Collaborate with development, design, and delivery teams
- Identify value engineering opportunities
- Contribute to feasibility and early-stage project input
- Proven experience as a Senior Estimator on high-density residential projects
- Strong exposure to Class 2 builds ($80M+ preferred)
- Background with a head contractor or developer-builder
- Strong knowledge of the Sydney subcontractor market
- High level of commercial acumen and attention to detail
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
