Join a leading Australian property development and investment group delivering iconic mixed-use, residential, commercial, and large-scale urban development projects across the country.

With a strong pipeline of landmark developments and continued business growth, they are seeking an experienced and technically sound Senior Finance Manager to lead financial reporting, statutory compliance, and finance operations across the group.

This is a senior leadership opportunity within a highly regarded property business, working closely with executive leadership while managing and developing a high-performing finance team.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Senior Finance Manager will play a critical role in overseeing financial reporting, compliance, systems administration, and external audit management across the group.

You will lead the delivery of accurate and timely financial information while driving strong financial governance, process improvement, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes across the group
  • Oversee statutory compliance obligations including BAS, payroll tax, income tax, and financial statement preparation
  • Manage the external audit process and act as the primary liaison with external auditors
  • Ensure robust financial controls, governance, and accounting policies are maintained
  • Lead and mentor a financial reporting team, fostering a high-performance culture
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes and reporting systems
  • Act as the internal NetSuite Administrator, managing system optimisation, controls, and enhancements
  • Assist with technical accounting matters, consolidations, and group reporting requirements

About You

  • CA / CPA qualified
  • Proven experience in a senior finance or financial reporting leadership role
  • Background within property, construction, infrastructure, or asset-intensive industries highly regarded
  • Strong technical accounting and statutory reporting capability
  • Experience managing external audits and working with auditors
  • NetSuite systems administration experience highly desirable
  • Prior audit experience from a Big 4 or Mid-Tier environment preferred but not essential
  • Strong leadership capability with experience managing and developing finance teams
  • Commercially minded with excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
