Senior M&E Estimator | Quantity Surveying Consultancy Sydney | Data Centres & Infrastructure | Competitive Salary + Career Progression

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced M&E Estimator to join a leading Quantity Surveying and Cost Management consultancy delivering some of Australia's most complex and high-profile projects.

Working alongside a specialist team, you will play a key role in preparing detailed mechanical and electrical cost estimates across major data centre, infrastructure, mission-critical and large-scale commercial developments. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work client-side in a consultancy environment with exposure to projects from concept through to completion.

The Role

Reporting to senior leadership, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing detailed MEP estimates and cost plans across all project stages
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical documentation to produce accurate pricing
  • Providing cost advice and benchmarking for mechanical and electrical services
  • Supporting feasibility studies, budgets and value engineering exercises
  • Liaising with clients, consultants and design teams throughout project delivery
  • Contributing to tender evaluations and procurement strategies
  • Assisting with risk analysis and identifying cost-saving opportunities
  • Working across high-profile data centre, infrastructure and mission-critical developments
About You
  • Previous experience as an M&E Estimator, MEP Estimator or Electrical/Mechanical Cost Planner
  • Background within a consultancy, contractor or specialist subcontractor environment
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building services and infrastructure systems
  • Experience preparing first-principles estimates and detailed cost plans
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
