The role
You will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of site activities, coordinating subcontractors, labour, and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard of quality.

The role requires a hands-on Senior Site Manager who is comfortable leading teams on site, managing programmes , and working closely with a Project Manager & Construction Manager to resolve issues as they arise.
Key responsibilities
  • Overall management of site operations and daily activities
  • Coordination and supervision of subcontractors and site team including other site managers
  • Managing construction programmes, including short-term schedules
  • Upholding site safety, quality, and environmental standards
  • Chairing subcontractor and coordination meetings
  • Managing site records, diaries, progress reporting, and documentation
  • Working closely with the Project Manager to drive programme and cost outcomes
  • Maintaining professional relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Trade or construction qualification
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager
  • Experience working for either a commercial main contractor or fit-out/refurbishment specialist
  • Proficient in Excel, Procure, computer literate, with exposure to programming software
  • Strong understanding of site safety systems and quality processes
  • Confident reading and interpreting drawings and construction documentation
  • Calm, organised, and professional leadership style on site
  • Able to manage multiple subcontractors and competing priorities
