We are partnering with a leading retail property organisation to appoint a State Manager to lead the delivery of capital works, refurbishments and development projects across a significant Queensland portfolio.
This is a leadership role responsible for managing a team of Project Managers while overseeing project delivery across live retail environments, ensuring minimal disruption to operations, tenants and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of retail projects across Queensland, from planning through to completion.
- Manage, mentor and develop a team of Project Managers.
- Oversee project budgets, programmes, risk and governance.
- Deliver projects within live operating environments while maintaining business continuity.
- Manage key relationships with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors and tenants.
- Drive project performance, consistency and best practice across the portfolio.
- Proven experience delivering retail, shopping centre, mixed-use or multi-site projects.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing project teams.
- Strong understanding of project delivery within live operational environments.
- Background from a client-side consultancy, landlord, developer, retail organisation or contractor environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and commercial skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Property or a related discipline.
- Lead a diverse portfolio of retail projects across Queensland.
