An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced State Facilities Manager to lead a high-performing Facilities Management team across a large portfolio of multi asset classes.
This leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring compliance, managing risk, delivering strategic facilities initiatives, and fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors and tenants.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a statewide Facilities Management team.
- Oversee operational performance across a diverse property portfolio.
- Drive WHS, compliance, ESG and risk management initiatives.
- Manage contractor performance, procurement and service delivery.
- Support capital works and asset improvement projects.
- Collaborate with Property, Asset and Development teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proven leadership experience across a large portfolio, managing teams of Facilities Managers/
- Strong knowledge of building operations, compliance, contractor management and asset management.
- Experience managing budgets, CAPEX projects and operational risk.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Relevant qualifications in Facilities Management, Property, Building Services or a related discipline are highly regarded.
