Studio Operations Manager

Architecture Practice | North Sydney

An established architecture practice is seeking an experienced Studio Operations Manager to oversee the operational, technical and commercial performance of the studio.

Working closely with the Directors and senior leadership team, the role will focus on optimising studio operations, improving systems and processes, and supporting the continued growth of the practice.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Studio Operations & Performance – improving processes, systems, efficiency and overall studio performance.

  • Quality Assurance – establishing and maintaining studio-wide QA standards and processes.

  • BIM & Digital Delivery – overseeing BIM strategy, Revit standards, digital workflows and technology adoption.

  • IT & Systems – managing the practice’s technology, software and digital infrastructure.

  • Resourcing – overseeing team capacity, workload planning, utilisation and future resource requirements.

  • Profitability & Commercial Performance – monitoring project performance, budgets, utilisation and profitability, working with Directors to identify opportunities for improvement.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience within an architecture or design practice, with a combination of operational, technical and commercial expertise. They will be confident working with senior leadership and project teams, with the ability to implement systems, drive efficiencies and support the practice’s broader strategic objectives.
