The Opportunity

Working closely with the safety `project leadership team, you’ll play a key role in driving the implementation of WHS systems, promoting a positive safety culture and ensuring safety remains at the forefront of project delivery.

You’ll be visible on site, engaging with subcontractors, construction teams and key stakeholders to drive accountability, identify risks and ensure safe work practices are embedded into day-to-day operations.

We’re looking for someone who leads by example, takes a proactive approach and understands that great safety outcomes are achieved through strong relationships, clear communication and a hands-on presence on site.

What You’ll Bring

  Proven experience in a WHS Manager or senior WHS advisory role within commercial construction.
• 
  Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, compliance requirements and construction safety systems.
• 
  A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong can-do attitude and willingness to get involved.
• 
  The ability to influence and engage project teams, subcontractors and senior stakeholders to drive positive safety outcomes.
• 
  Experience conducting site inspections, audits, risk assessments and incident investigations.
• 
  Confidence managing high-risk construction activities, SWMS, safety documentation and corrective actions.

  Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of a project.

  A solutions-focused mindset, with the ability to identify risks early and work collaboratively to resolve issues.
