Our Sydney team recently spent the day volunteering at A Taste of Paradise as part of our annual community initiative. Every visit with Tim reinforces why this organisation plays such an important role in the lives of the young people it supports. What began with Tim as a sole mentor has grown into a programme delivering real, proven outcomes for at-risk and disadvantaged young people through his farm. Together with his team, Tim provides assisted animal therapy, one-on-one mentoring and hands-on horticultural training — creating healing experiences while also building practical skills for future employment. As demand has grown, so has the farm. Additional mentors, expanded facilities, solar power, water infrastructure and conservation areas have all strengthened its ability to support more young people each year. Much of that growth has been made possible by volunteers and donations. The charity does not receive direct government funding and relies on community support. There are many ways to get involved, volunteering your time, mentoring, or making a donation. We were proud to contribute $2,500 during our visit and encourage others to support this impactful organisation. We attended the 2026 Developer Outlook Lunch Series in Sydney last Thursday, the final event in a national series bringing together senior property leaders, presented by The Urban Developer in partnership with First Title and Cotality. It was a full room with great energy, and the discussion provided an honest look at what’s ahead for the sector. Was great to see everyone, and a big thanks to the team who helped make the day such a success.

Amelia and Phil attended the Build-to-Rent Summit in Melbourne last week, where one message was clear: Melbourne continues to lead the sector nationally. While Australia is still catching up to more mature markets such as the US and London, Build-to-Rent is steadily establishing itself as a distinct and recognised asset class. A key theme throughout the discussions was the critical relationship between design quality and cost certainty. Achieving design efficiency, buildability, and operational performance is essential to delivering projects that are both financially viable and sustainable over the long term. BTR has a significant role to play in expanding housing supply while delivering professionally managed, high-quality rental communities that provide stability and improved living outcomes for residents. While feasibility pressures and policy settings continue to present challenges, there is strong optimism across the sector as capital, expertise, and market acceptance continue to deepen.

An inspiring and energising morning at the NSW Retail Property Outlook event yesterday Property Council of Australia with Erin Dixson. We were fortunate to hear Colliers present valuable insights into emerging retail trends, expectations for 2026, and a highly positive panel discussion featuring some of our industry’s leading retail property professionals. One particularly encouraging takeaway was the event’s attendance split of 45/55 male to female- a small but meaningful indicator that the retail property sector continues to embrace diversity and inclusivity and It’s fantastic to be part of an industry moving in the right direction. Connecting with like minded professionals who share a genuine passion for property will never stop being motivating or inspiring for me and I will always encourage people to network, you will always learn something new

As the Redpath Partners Women in Construction Scholarship recipient from UNSW, Amelia Chan has officially completed her Construction Management degree. A significant milestone and one she should be incredibly proud of. Throughout her studies, Amelia undertook a construction cadetship with Built., gaining valuable hands-on experience across live project delivery, tender processes and stakeholder engagement. This real-world exposure has played a key role in building her technical capability and confidence within the construction industry. Amelia has spoken openly about how her experience has shaped her career ambitions and strengthened her belief that construction offers rewarding and diverse career paths for women. She now actively encourages women who may be unsure about entering the industry to explore opportunities in construction management and project delivery. As she wraps up her cadetship, Amelia is preparing to begin her next project at Western Sydney Airport, where she looks forward to working in a new project environment and continuing to learn across different construction delivery models. Longer term, Amelia’s goal is to move into Project Management, driven by her interest in leadership and working closely with clients and stakeholders. At Redpath Partners, supporting women like Amelia and backing them with meaningful, practical industry experience, is something we’re proud of. We remain committed to helping build a more inclusive construction industry and look forward to continuing this partnership with UNSW by supporting another female construction student through our Women in Construction Scholarship.

Our second ‘𝐒𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬’ event Hannah & Rebecca hosted Wednesday’s gathering and want to extend a huge thank you to all the women who joined us. 𝐒𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬 was created to bring women in Adelaide’s 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 and 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 sector together, and the night was another powerful reminder of why this community matters. Hearing everyone resonate with one another’s experiences - and openly share insights - made it clear that when women come together, we elevate the entire industry. We can’t wait for the next one!
