Oliver Redpath, co-founder of Redpath Partners, has extensive experience growing and managing recruitment entities across Asia Pacific and North America.
Oliver’s client contact has always focussed on the areas of Property Investment and Fund Management. Having lived and worked in some of the world’s most prominent cities for institutional property activity he possesses a far reaching professional network that can be utilised by customers.
Simon started his career in recruitment in London Jan 2000 working for the UK’s largest recruitment firm specialising within the Real Estate and Design sector.
In March 2006 he moved with them to Asia and was one of the original members when they launched in Hong Kong. He was integral in the initial set up and successful expansion of this business across the region, managing a number of teams across different specialism and locations in Asia Pacific
In Jan 2012 he moved to TTP Consulting where he was responsible for setting up, managing and growing the real estate and design business.
In August 2018 he Joined Redpath Partners as Director focussed on expanding our capability across the development, Construction, Corporate Real Estate and Design businesses. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience recruiting within these disciplines with both international and local firms for middle management and senior level appointments. He has forged strong relationships with senior recruiting partners and candidates alike, building a leading reputation within this market.
Danny Dawson leads recruitment for Development, Design and Construction working with high profile property developers and investors across North America. He has over 15 years experience in the recruitment industry having worked in New York, Sydney, Hong Kong, Singapore, and London. Danny started his recruitment career with top tier recruitment companies in Sydney and London where he gained extensive experience in the investment banking and private equity sectors.
Danny established our Hong Kong office in 2010 and through his experience has built a thorough network across the industry with property developers and investors in North America, Australia, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Prior to Redpath Partners, he was the Regional Manager at Judd Farris where he was responsible for leading the strategic growth of the business across Asia. His remit also included managing a successful team of consultants, whilst maintaining an active recruitment role across property development clients. With a degree in Economics and post-graduate diploma in Business Management, he has also gained experience in the property industry working with Colliers International in Australia.
Danny has excelled in the recruitment industry with his open, honest approach enabling him to develop valued relationships with both clients and candidates – qualities at the core of Redpath Partners’ commitment to a partnering approach.
Oliver Birch, Director of Redpath Partners, joined the business in 2012 following seven years of Executive Search experience within a boutique investment banking firm. From 2014 – 2018, Oliver was based out of Hong Kong and led the Asia Pacific business for Redpath Partners working with a mixture of Asia domiciled fund management groups and global fund management businesses who were seeking to expand their operations within the region. Oliver has significant search experience across all major investment hubs in Asia (Hong Kong, Shanghai, Seoul, Tokyo, Sydney and Singapore) and has delivered against several complex mandates.
In 2019, Oliver relocated to London to launch the European business for Redpath Partners and now has a dual responsibility for overseeing both the Europe and Asia practices. Oliver has a significant global network within the PERE markets and has assisted in several capital introductions as well as human capital advisory.
Oliver graduated with a master’s degree in philosophy from the University of St Andrews.
Emma is a Managing Partner in our New York office, with responsibility of the firm’s North American business. She has over ten years’ of diverse search and recruitment experience working across a wide variety of roles in varied industries. She has broad knowledge of the Real Estate industry, having worked directly with REITs, developers, private equity firms, investment banks, sovereign wealth funds and brokerage firms. She is experienced recruiting across Investment and Asset Management, Acquisitions, Development, Capital Raising, Investor Relations and Marketing at differing levels of seniority.
Emma’s valuable experience, excellent interpersonal skills and transparency has seen the development and maintenance of strong, valuable and professional relationships with both clients and candidates. Results oriented and client focussed, Emma extends her ability to guide and uphold her client’s requirements. Emma’s recruitment career is complemented by a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Adelaide, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Property from the University of South Australia..
Ben is a Director within our Property division and has a core focus on the Office and Industrial sectors across Australia. With over 12 years’ experience he has a client base that spans the REIT sector, private equity groups, off-shore groups, agencies, private owners, investment banks and boutique funds management platforms. Key areas of recruitment include Funds Management, Investment Management, Asset Management, Capital Transactions, Analytics, Sales and Leasing, Valuations, Research and Property Management.
Based in the Sydney office, Rhian specialises in recruiting for our Property Development clients and works closely with leaders of private firms as well as property institutions in order to build capability for all asset classes.
With over 15 years’ experience gained from specialist recruitment and commercial lead roles, Rhian has successfully led talent attraction projects across multiple business sectors. She utilises her ability to listen to requirements, identify the best solution and develop a strong and strategic partnership with all parties throughout the process whilst being transparent and diligent – qualities at the core of Redpath Partners’ commitment to a partnering approach.
Alice joined Redpath Partners in March 2016 to focus on building the team’s capability within Private Equity Real Estate across Asia Pacific.
Alice graduated in 2012 with a degree in Spanish from the University of Leeds, having spent a year in Mexico City as part of her course. After graduating, she spent four years working in London in a boutique recruitment consultancy and prior to joining Redpath Partners, Alice was operating as a Researcher for executive search business Odgers Berndtson in London, with a focus on the Real Estate and Infrastructure markets across the UK.
Alice brings an in-depth research methodology to the Property team and an understanding of the global Real Assets sector.
Charlie joined Redpath Partners in March 2015 to launch the Dubai office and develop the brand and service offering across the MENA region. Having previously setup the Hays Construction & Property Middle East division, he has worked in the Middle East for 16 years, bringing with him over 20 years of specialist technical recruitment experience within the Property & Construction industries to assist both clients and candidates alike with their specific requirements.
In addition to managing the Middle East operations, Charlie has developed long standing relationships with Sovereign Wealth Funds, Private Offices, Real Estate Developers, Asset Management Companies and PMCs in the region, and with that a proven track record in sourcing high level expertise across key technical specialisms including C-suite/Executive Management, Property Development & Project Management on their behalf. Charlie’s knowledge and experience in KSA & UAE in particular enables him to provide a fully comprehensive advisory service to clients & candidates alike.
Nathan joined Redpath Partner Dubai office in 2018 after spending 7 years in UK Real Estate Executive Search. His focus there was on attracting private sector talent to public sector real estate companies.
In the GCC he has collaborated with CEO’s and Investors to hire C-Suite as well as Board Members for newly established Real Estate DevCo’s OpCo’s and PropCo’s. He has also partnered with top tier private real estate developers to hire key real estate executives. These skills have become particularly relevant for major companies with significant land banks who are seeking to develop real estate liquidity into investment grade assets.
Nathan enjoys maintaining strong links with our sister offices in Hong Kong, New York, London and Sydney. These relationships are critical to producing innovative shortlists composed of local, regional and international real estate talent.
